Oh stars, even stars! Even the suns
whose undying light breathes life into all
countless mortal creatures across the universe,
whose sisters are their gods, whose risings set their clocks,
whose settings set ablaze the fire in their lovers’ eyes,
even they, even they are consumed
in the heartless Void!
