?

a man so stunning as if painted
the oil saturating into the pores of his skin skin skin skin skin
an angel like being, stunning from all perspectives--

trapped in a museum, my exhibit fell short
the same as others, yet more desolate looking
to live- to live- to live- to live- is it not obvious?

born from a putrid dream, so repulsive
to fulfill the weight he carried yet fought
to end- to end- to end- to end- how it hurts

i run my fingers along the painting
did you want to cut her?

as the man in the painting seems to frown
did you ever love me?

reven - reven - reven dluow uoy su devol uoy fi
EID OT SU TNAW UOY SU LLET TSUJ
yaw siht tuo dnif em tel t'nod
YAW SIHT TUO DNIF REH TEL TNOD
truh ot hguone t'nsaw i fi sa

she loves you an overwhelming amount!
it’s sickening, i’ll vomit blood-
vomit- vomit- on the canvas

i, i tried, i tried, to help her realize
but, she won’t let go of the painting
it’s scratched, torn, so- so- so-

cut and paste my skin onto yours
my bones are laughing, laughing laughing,
ahhh, pry my ribcage open with a snap
as the liver you desire ruptures

smother the rotten placenta which created me
it’s too late- too late- too late- too late- ahh
my skin is screaming as if it crawls
i was painted by the worst

you you you you you you you dont love me
you you you dont love you cant
you’re you’re you’re incapable
you’re you’re you’re sick
i hate you more than words
words words words words words

are you proud of yourself?
are you proud that you watch us rot?
through the painting we try to save?
in which you tear us?
that you look so perfect but-

it’s okay though! as long as you don’t get in trouble

hitcheatcussitsneverenoughforagirlwhodreamed

andyoucouldntloveherforthesakeofalife-

i want to scream

rip the skin off my knuckles and stretch them onto your bruises
you don’t, you don’t, you don’t you don’t care
slowly i’ll be kill kill kill kill kill kill killed
the blood on my cuticles ripple as if cackling

hurt her, curse her, hit her, hurt hurt hurt her
it’s not, it’s not, enough for you
she’ll try, she’ll never listen to me
a painting so dreadful

just-just say that you don’t care
that you want her to die
or kill me yourself
rip me for your scars
i want, i want i want to know
dont let it-

Sad one. Do not give up yourself to someone who will not love you and appreciate you. Do not hate yourself if you have already made that mistake, if you have not already left get plans put together to leave in a safe way. Creative writing in this one. Sara K.

Wow, this is pretty intense! and unique! backward writing and the repetition. I guess intense emotions often involve a simple thought repeated over and over an over.

The anguish of a breakup, to a less than honorable man is very evident in these dark lines, replete with emotion and powerful images. The metaphor of being trapped in a museum was fascinating! Wonderful writing! :)
