Untitled

Somewhere
Along life's dull day
Hope remains
Not deferred
Nor sick
In expectation of a great divine
A heart waits
Passing the time in silent retreats
Inwardly accepts
Though outwardly blind

Somewhere
Along night's quiet surrender
A soul awakes
In eagerness to find
And in the nights silent embrace
Caresses the hand
Of love so divine
And drifts sweetly into day's death
