Untitled
Deep inside the pathways turning
There their is a man that’s yearning
And waiting for the person that’s been on his mind for years
He waited there through sleet and shower
And waited on beyond the hour
And yet no simple sign or emblem did there show.
But yet the faithful man he waited
Waiting on and yet sedated
Feeding of the sanity of his only love
And slumber once brought comely vixen
Prancing bout the ball room, smitten
Demonic Ballerinas whispering “Forget”
But no the man he fought for truth
And lo the man he sought for Ruth
Though he knew she was not coming he would not succumb
And time, oh time was not giving
The old man growing worn and grey
Still there waiting on and onward even as ghostly spectrums grim
And what of Ruth that so he sought for
That never cared to find her boe
The temptress lies unwoken, broken, haunted there forever more
