Until Then

Remember when
I held you in the dark?
Once again
We won’t be so far apart
Until then
I will hold you in my heart

Remember when
We laughed until we cried?
Once again
You’ll be back here by my side
Until then
All joy has been denied

Remember when
We conquered all our fears?
Once again
We will dry each other’s tears
Until then
I’ll pretend that you are near

Remember when
We realized this was love?
Once again
My heart will have enough
Until then
You’re all I’m thinking of.
