Until the Moon

She shook her soul out, laughs upon the grass
with eyes as moons reflecting every word
and so the day of days had come to pass

where not a grain of evil does disturb
and conscience vaults are lightened of their load
while all the songs of birds are understood

with every worthy story yet untold
She waved the air a rainbow to appear
while words entwined and blooming colors flowed

and happiness was all the world could hear
as tides turned back upon her older face
salt to mint released upon the air

I shook my zeal to helium the place
and we both laughed until our eyes were blue
for all bad days to come could not erase

the friendship we encapsulated, grew
in bearing eyes eclipsing every laugh
we raced the day away until the moon...
