Until I Met You
I never knew of true love until I met you
It was a cold night and you neared me, nervously I stepped back
For such beauty came my way
I lost in your eyes short of speech stood there amazed at the angel before me
The stars spelled your first name, ending with my last name and I saw it as s sign to be
Your blue shirt, your black tigths I shall never forget that night
The minute in which you came into my sight my smile streched and froze still on my face
For a joy overthrew my entire soul
I came up to you and huged you, I never wanted to let go I wanted to hold onto you tight
Yet I knew I had to release to aquaint ourselves yet again
The smile that hung upon your face was just beautiful and still is
I heard your voice, and a million butterflies took life in me
I almost flew
Love was in the air, your eyes were fixed upon me
Secrets came and sat by our side
And I flattered at how true your heart was to my art
Spoken words, written poems all to thy name
I dedicated you song after song, and you melted
Soft verses came to open the doord to your heart
My voice entered your soul and made its home in your imagination
A painted portrait I will always be, as you call me your star
Truly I am
For today I hold you
Tomorrow you and our babies
Let us live to love one another
I thank my God for such belessing as to have you by my side
I walk in love towards you
My soul and heart to you are very true
I never knew of a warm heart until I sat by you
The softest lips that fit mine like the stars to the moon I met when I kissed you
The soul to hold my soul and take it out for a walk in the streets of art I found when I held you
I saw my self complete when I was in you, as I made love to you
Love of my love, life of my love I never knew my soul mate until I met you
