Until

We cry for our children Our tears are wet a thick We cry for our little ones We’re hopeless, we are sick So sick of all the negligence No safety is guaranteed We are ashamed, we bow our heads How can we guide and lead? We cry for our children Their tomorrow is not sure We weep for our children It hurts us to the core We cry for our children Our crying makes us weak We hope for our children We whisper when we speak It’s fear mingled with courage It’s sadness mixed with rage We cry for our children We yearn for a new page We’ll cry for our children Until the world will turn We’ll cry for our children Till then, our hearts will burn.
