Unspoken Words
Your standing by my side today
your words i don't believe
you said you wont give up that easy
and yet your going to leave
I cannot say good bye to you
as you walk to the door
cause good bye means forever
and its happened to me before
You still await unspoken words
as tears fall down my face
and I sit here deep in thought
With your words of gentle grace
I cannot say so long to you
as you walk to your car
cause so long feels like eternity
and that is way too far
You said you will think of me
and that i will be fine
soon i will be whole again
but it will take some time
I did not say a thing to you
I just bowed my head and cried
you put your hand upon my face
and something inside me died
I pull away from your hand
a tear from you did drop
and when you leave i pray to God
my heart will not stop
You grab my hand with your heart
I touch your face and tear
please my love leave in silence
for good byes are what i fear
