Unseen
A mirror is merely
A reflection of ones self
You can't discern what's deep inside
That's shown to no one else
You can't see the broken heart
Of a mother who lost her child
Who blames herself for giving up
And sending to the wild
You can't see the damaged soul
Of a girl matured too fast
Who's innocence was torn away
By a demon of her past
You can't see the throbbing pains
Of a boy next to his dad
Who can't let go
Who's fading slow
Still words are left unsaid
A mirror merely shows
What's apparent to the eyes
You can't discern the agony
The reason why one cries
