Unrequited Love

Oh how I long to tell you Just how much you mean to me How I love you so Your short brown hair I long to run my fingers through Your deep mesmerizing brown eyes I want to lose myself in Your soft lips I long to feel on my own once more The way our bodies fit perfectly together As we dance to the rhythm of the music Oh how I love your smile That seems to radiate your whole being When you laugh at something I said It's like music to my ears The sound of your soft voice Is like a haunting melody I wish that you could love me But you only love me as a friend Oh how I wish that love Was so much more But my love for you Shall remain unrequited My love for you Is one you shall never know
