What have I become in a world coming undone?
Where chaos reigns and hope seems long gone?
Right before my eyes, I grip the darkness rise.
But amidst it all, a ray of light tries
Fetching furry friends, full of pure delight,
Spreading surreal sunshine with all its might.
From those mocha eyes, a glimmer of truth,
A reminder of innocence, of purest youth.
Leaving paw-prints on the heart,
A love unspoken, a bond that won't depart
In a world so cold and unkind,
A furry companion is a solace, I find.
Unbothered bliss, in each wag and purr,
A love that's unconditional and pure.
Through the chaos and the strife,
My furry friend brings peace to my life.
In those moments of uncertainty and fear,
Their presence brings comfort, oh so near.
Their paw-prints on my heart, forever imprinted,
A love so unforgettable, never to be tinted
With each wag of their tail, a smile is born.
Their love and loyalty are never to be torn.
In a world unraveling, they remain steadfast,
A beacon of light, a love that will last.
No matter how the world may challenge,
They bestow us joy that will never arrange.
Their paws may leave prints on my soul.
But their love and presence bear me whole.
