Unnamed Sonnet

Not just age and miles that takes it's toll
But situations can cause what you see
Some are from the age of sweet Rock-N-Roll
Others happened while on a wild spree
Folds and wrinkles, gouges and broken parts
seems to all come with the territory
Whether young or old they all once had spark
Each one you see can tell a good story
Some came quietly during a cold night
There are others that seem to just appear
The tough ones don't give up without a fight
But sooner or later they all get here

Unnamed Sonnet can be read two ways
"Junk Yard Cars" or "As A Woman Does Age"

Age creeps up on all of us Paula. Some deal with it better than others. I guess I'm from the "age of sweet Rock-N-Roll." Beautiful sonnet! Congrats on your win in Brian's contest. Love, Carolyn
