Mommy, why's that man not wearing a mask
Shh, darling, it's not nice of you to ask
   That's quite alright, ma'am
   I'm out on the lam
I've got to see to fill up this here flask

I have friends shrieking at strangers "six feet! Six feet!" in grocery stores. I forgot to ask if they were wearing masks.

this made me giggle...I couldn't tell you how many altercations I hear about of people getting too close or not wearing masks... witnessed one myself... got to be afraid to say anything to anyone with all the tensions running high... good write my friend... :) hugs

Yes, me too. People at the grocery store can be esp. annoying in the check-out line, when they can't wait to get their stuff onto the conveyor belt. Oh, well... :) gw

Kid's are so honest and upfront, before they are taught not to be. "Why is your hair pink?" or "why do you only have one leg" is honest, looking through or past or over is a learned behaviour. I know this was probably not your intended direction, but it is my gleaning of meaning. xomo

Actually, the limerick focuses on the point you raised, and that is its intended meaning. I just turned it into a limerick to show the 'honesty connection' between innocent kids and guilty thieves in an ironic way. Looks as if you're the only one who caught it. Shows your acumen! Thanks, Mo! :) gw
