Unlike the Death of Elvis

    A once-beloved language now graces no tongue
        an adorable, furry species perishes overnight
     A noble civilization sits forsaken 'midst her ruins…

     All told, the pause for sorrow 
        no more than ~
          the passing of a fragile hour
