Unity - 2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.- 2 Corinthians 13:11
We are one nation under God. We are one family created in His image. Brothers and Sisters, Let’s unite! Black and White, Let’s unite! Democrats and Republicans, Let’s unite! Rich and Poor, Let’s unite! Native-Born and Immigrants, Let’s unite! Christians and Muslims, Let’s unite! Young and Old, Let’s unite! Weak and Strong, Let’s unite! Churches of every denomination, people from every nation, every color, every creed, let us learn from history! For the future generations, let us unite as family! Let us pray for one another, and lift up our sisters and brothers. Let us all walk hand-in-hand. *A house divided cannot stand. Let us love one another, every sister, every brother!
*A house divided against itself, cannot stand. - Abraham Lincoln (Dedicated to the bridge builders, peaceful protesters, and those who do their best to love others as they love themselves.) Written 6/5/20 for Chantelle Anne Cooke's Favorite Scripture Contest

This is exactly what we should do; and it is right there in the Good Book. Perfectly said at this perfectly crazy time.

This is so write on, Rhonda. Unity is so often the theme in the Bible, you have picked a doozy of a verse "be of one mind, live in peace". This resonates with our current struggles on a national and global basis. A fave for me, and one that I'm sure will garner a win in the contest (and should be a POTD!) Hugs ~ John

Oh, this is a wonderful write to share. We need all the unity and peace. We need not to throw rocks then act like saints. Good luck in the contest. Linda

Well said, Rhonda! Please send a copy to Trump!!! I won't enter the contest because my favourite scriptures are, "Men are that they might have Joy and make Mary" (according to Alexa) which is not nearly as lofty version of uniting as yours! Aloha! Rico

I would send enough copies for him and his entire staff if I thought they would read it or even care. Thanks for the visit. :) Rhonda
