United

Through my walls
You came crashing in
Like a hurricane, a whirlwind
You were dynamite
Destroyed obstacles in your path
Found your way to my heart and my soul
My hero, my saviour, my love

Through my tears of fear
We fought, we argued
We kissed and made love for hours
Our passion fired like a furnace
Lovers entwined
Together, united
In my body, in my mind, in my soul

Through your moods we battled
Facing them head on
The wars were over
No more combat
No more conflict
We stood united
We were as one

United together
Still happy we stand
We walk our path together
Safely, hand in hand
We have each other
United
We are all we need
