'uniquely You'
Remember the days
When all you had to do was smile
And it made your forget
about the adversity,
It made you forget about the tears
Remember what it felt like
To unwrap a gift from that
Someone special
Remember your first kiss
It might not have been
Something for the record books
But it was your first
Every day we are faced with something new
We encounter strangers,
Some become friends
We encounter fear,
Laughter and sadness
Sometimes nameless emotions
that urges you to exhale
You may not remember
them in a year but it is all part of who you are
like a fingerprint that makes you--
uniquely you
