Uninvited

I was walking a narrow road uncharted and realized that you were on the opposite side I crossed the road looking to find some direction Fascinated, I ask how I could hitch a ride You told me I'd need to have money ‘don't be cheap honey’ I said ‘I've never needed any, sorry but don't worry’ The currency in this land is different You pay in secret effect They will be the writers on my wall still While they say to rectify my defect They say ‘if I could watch your descent, that is what I would do But I can't, so pardon me If I pretend not to have a clue
