Uninvited
I was walking a narrow road uncharted
and realized that you were on the opposite side
I crossed the road looking to find some direction
Fascinated, I ask how I could hitch a ride
You told me I'd need to have money
‘don't be cheap honey’
I said ‘I've never needed any, sorry
but don't worry’
The currency in this land is different
You pay in secret effect
They will be the writers on my wall still
While they say to rectify my defect
They say ‘if I could watch your descent,
that is what I would do
But I can't, so pardon me
If I pretend not to have a clue
