Unintended

Unintended So often the simplest expression provokes the deepest thought. Sometimes without intention love claims a place in our heart. And as the rising of the tide, washes the sea upon the sand, wiped away are tears cried by the touch of a gentle hand. The most innocent of words will stoke flames of desire. Sometimes a desolate heart is rekindled with raging fire. Unintended, though his motives may be, He passionately touches every part of me.

This is a lovely poem and cleanly written, though not a sonnet in strict definition. So what, I say, it's the though that counts. Thanks again for stopping by and the compliment. Keep writing. / M

I agree Tim. I can't imagine a pain more sorrowful than a hopeless heart, withering from lost love. I appreciate your reading this one. ~ Lin ~
