Unhappily Ever After

I have loved you since I was young. You were it for me and I didn't crave another. I was on cloud nine that you were my lover. But as the years went by you grew distant. You didn't look at me the same, You didn't touch me the same, You didn't hold me the same, When you said you didn't want to be with me any longer, It was like someone punched me in the stomach real hard. I thought we would be together forever. You were my fairytale my happily ever after. I loved you with my entire being…….. But for some reason that wasn't enough, Because you still left me……..
