Unforgiving Drunk

It's 4am and I cant sleep
My dreams are deep with splashes of you over the walls
my eyes weep as I am flooded with grief
Alone I sit on these cold timber floor's
Alone I am crashing noone to hear my need
Noone to heal my bloody wounds

Confusion sets in and noone can answer what is placed upon me
Where is my release
How do I carry through
My harmony is buried beneath
Like an angel who has lost her wings
I am abandon left to sink
Till I reach the abyss of my mind
Till all of my being is out of sight

It's 4am and I am awake
The night is glowing from the light of the moon
The stars are like tiny fireflies in the universe above
and I am
Unforgiving drunk
Wrapped up tight I'm stuck in the bottle
I'm tumbling down till I'm naked and raw
Till I cant fall anymore..

A compelling piece with riveting imagery... '...flooded with grief,' '...my harmony is buried beneath,' '...wrapt up tight,' '...naked and raw,' excellent phrasing! BRAVO Kerry!! Best wishes, Keith
