You've got me wondering if there is perhaps a such a thing as a slug poet. Thought based poetry of course, heavily influenced by the enjoyment of lettuce and it's beauty...

Maybe they are living the ultimate chill life John, perhaps we are all suffering for our sins in this form. Imagine it being the best day ever finding some lettuce and you live on an allotment and also like cabbage. Plus the world moves towards organic and stops poisoning slugs.
