UNDRESSED

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ summer's breath still warm~ then the sky cracks like wet slate. a gasp of cold air stitches through the golden grass. the earth shivers, half-undressed.
A short, evocative piece of prose or poetry that uses vivid imagery and sensory details to describe the sudden, sharp shift from late summer to the onset of autumn or a cold front.
Not a think nor season, is without constant change. Poetry is our omnipotent dimension. God understands I have come to be convinced. Thinking He not only allows poets...but truly loves them.
Yes, it is beginning to shiver as the northerly breeze is blowing down on us stripping the trees of their covering. Thanks for sharing this creative one with us. I enjoyed reading it. Sara K
