Understanding Either Way

The birds flutter as twilight begins So free they seem to be... They have no worries at the end of the day I often wonder what it must be like, - not to know so many things - Yet both of us, survival is necessary either way What can I give but food, for beauty, music they give to me? I watch them fly around, in the world they understand, without knowing what they bring to ours They are fluttering in their freedom, that goes beyond all of our limits And nor do we know or understand! Ah, if only birds could sleep at night without worrying if snakes, rats, cats, and other predators would raid their nest! Yet, it is wonderful to see them happily soar in the air! Enjoyed, Heidi! Aloha!

They buoy on freedom wings and offer much to humanity expecting very little. A gift of nature!

Interesting angle, Heidi... A 'give-get' relationship, where humans get what birds give, but don't give back too much... :) gw

Great imagery, Heidi. I always wondered how and where they die, their lives are so short. Thank you for your visit. Well said my friend. Many Blessings

Hello Heidi, Very nice to find your 'Understanding' in survival tonight. The fall seems to bring out the Towhees high in spirit and low on the branch. -Richard

I think they are given to us for a lesson, but I also think our Creator enjoys just watching them. Surely, their purpose is to bring Him glory.
