Under The Soft Glow

Under the soft glow of
A warm summer night,
A young couple slowly stop
And kiss under the pale moonlight
In a world that has long since passed
Away,
It seems that that memory stays.
It stays tucked softly in the heart
Of the girl, young no longer.
But it’s a moment in time
That forever will belong to him and her.
One could ask why did that precious
Moment pass by?
Why didn’t they stay together or at
Least try?
We can’t always know where each
Path will lead,
But above all else we must really try to believe.
Believe that what happens to us
Is what has to be,
That our lives were already planned
And for us it’s our destiny.
So keep those dreams and memories,
They are part of you and what you
Are meant to be.
