Under the Moonlight

The waves crash
and seagulls scatter,
all this beauty
just seems to shatter
Your beauty is gone
I cant come around
it just seems pointless
and I shall never be found
so please stop looking
for I am long gone
it's time my sweet lady
time to move on,
to the rest of your life
filled full of joy
I shouldn't have touched your heart
and used it like a toy
For that I am sorry
I'm not one to trust
my souls filled with sorrow
and pain for me is a must
I hope you can find it in you
to turn this pain into dust
and as the waves calm
and the seagulls re-clutter
our time here on earth
will be like a feather
on an unknown path
who only god can decide
our souls will forever dance
under the autumn moonlight
