Under a Pale Blue Sky

Under a pale blue sky,
we live lives of wonder.

When we go merrily,
along not asunder.

The sky grows dimly dark,
for the night phantoms dare.

When our dreams are kidnapped,
and become a nightmare.

Sometimes our darkest fears,
can be our best design.

When it makes a difference,
like when eyes have no shine.

Yet there's always the dawn,
like a necklace of stars.

To heal the darkest night,
like Venus heals her Mars!

Hi meru. How expressively you make your point. Describing dawn wearing a 'necklace of stars' is a great metaphor. Venus... tries to heal her Mars, but there are times when Mars must discover the healing he needs lies within himself. That truth is the same for her. Your poetry appeals to me. Thank you for your thoughts.

Thank you for your thoughts on mine, sometimes we feel something of ourselves in others, as you did in me, and I in you. Meru.
