Unconquerable Hope
The will to keep expecting the far
And celebrate it sometime in a bar
Honey-sweet news defying today’s anguish
And yesterday’s unanswered wish:
Igneous-hard belief that the overcast cloud
Won’t for too long remain proud…
Soon to its cruel tenure serve out
Unconditionally bowing out…
It is unconquerable hope
To in travails steer clear of dope.
