Unclosed Wounds

He says I seem to have unclosed wounds. Am I that transparent? Can people actually see my broken heart through my chest wall?? Does my broken heart convey it's pain in mundane conversation. It's lack of trust so obvious although I seem so jovial? My poor wee heart has had enough of false declarations. Used, abused, neglected and abandoned. Another cut catastrophic. So I carry it with care. in it's little chest cavity. Any who venture near it beware. It is a heart....interrupted.

I'll be alright when I finally get my big hug from my middle child. She is due home from a six week holiday soon. I'm sure she was a bear in a past life, her hugs are so good Niall.

You can't stick a plaster on a heart and hope it will heal Jean the pain can cut to deep but hopefully over time the wounds will heal and you can move on - really moving poem my friend I am sure many can relate to your words:-( hugs jan xx

It is a cathartic release to write of the heart's pain Jean. Some deep wounds never heal, but they do fade some with time. A wonderfully composed piece Jean! I can relate. : )
