Unclad Flower

.

                 Crunch
    left-over leaves of winter

                   Peek
  the premature green growth
                of spring

                  Touch
    the unclad flower’s bloom
    at the climax of Summer’s
                   zenith

Just pouring my second cup of morning coffee and you have me wishing and dreaming of flowers on this cold , sunny day. We still have 3 feet of snow around but slowly melting a little each day. love phyl

And a beautiful, long awaited flower it is, Sir James. At the moment my entire being is concerned with the sensation of approaching spring, but love your summer thoughts. Love, Dave
