Unchambered
In the chambers dying salted wounds slowly weep
looking through the keyhole beholding darkness
touching cold chilling bites teeth
snarling growls within ache an animal of pain
Fingers of ice slither over one's soul
shivering the timbers feeling worthless
grabbing out gasping for light
clutching aimlessly at straws
A godless affliction inside
empty suffering cries wishing upon a star
believing on beauty on a cold dark night
growling murmurs within oneself
whispering in voices carried on the wind
Finding comfort in sadness
a fragile presence exists in an empty vessel
moonlight the host where shadows hover
clouding judgement hides the light of the sky
smiling through clouds haunted visions
creep inside shadows fears are realized
Distorted images dead mirror images
a chilling sacrifice of blood
gripping at the heart of beauty cries
a ghost suffering reaches out
strangely guarded in nightly whispers
clothed in grey rising out of the night
A reaper's knuckle echoes heavy
on chamber's door of mansion or mausoleum
knocking down the entrance to heaven and hell
a heart attacked fever rising chills subsiding
back and forth visions delirious
Running from a nightmare to capture a dream
holding hope in fingers of the imprisoned soul
once washed away in despair's tears
a stain of belief lingered
carried along on wings of the wind
Hidden in shadows waiting to whisper
painful voices masking truth cloaking beauty
hollow thoughts burn and scar
healing as time itself passes away
peaceful slumber now overtakes inner nightmares
Under lasting moonlight the stars keep promises
wishes granted as dreams come alive
dark clouds parting the pathway home
heaven's winds sail the vessel
rising upon crystal waves of white
fleeing the chains to freedom
turning silver key opening eternity's glow
clear light beautifully blinding
