Unborn Tomorrows

Unborn tomorrows..
Disguise unknown sorrows
Leaving hearts full..
Not empty and hollow

Unborn tomorrows..
Always send a rainbow smile
After dark clouds..
Have had their while

Unborn tomorrows..
Leave room for dreams to grow
Even ones forgotten..
So long ago

Unborn tomorrows..
Give all a second chance
To rekindle..
 Lost romance

Unborn tomorrows..
Provide opportunity to say thank you
I love you..
And appreciate all you do

Unborn tomorrows..
Give a chance to say
I'm sorry I acted that way..
I don't always mean everything I say

Unborn tomorrows..
Are like life itself
Breathe in and out..
Nothing else
Just assuming the next one will come
Until the last one and then it's done..

So breathe deep and let it go..
If tomorrow doesn't come, you'll never know..

For God is love....

* I heard the phrase unborn tomorrow a long long time ago on an old western show when I was a kid..I thought it was beautiful and still do...

My unborn tomorrows may ne'er be as sweet - as all of my yesterdays spent at your feet -- day after tomorrow, the road I have trod - will have been determined by Almighty God.....Nice tag or title you carried through the years, sweetheart. I really enjoyed your winning entry... Love ya ... Jake

Hello Donna, i love the poem so much... I had to comment without a congratulations paste... 2 tell U that your poems means a lot to me... God Is Love, and everything about your poem, felt as if I was reliving my daughters past. I wish we knew what the morrows holds... why must everyday be a step closer to an unborn future. I'm glad we live moments and breath the moments we do have... xox~ CONGRATULATIONS!!! LINDA

Hi Linda...the age old question....I wish I knew...I want to thank you for sponsoring this inspiring contest and for the honor I feel..I remember once my grandma told me if we didn't have sorrows or uncertainty, we wouldn't need God....or faith. Thanks again Linda .this means a lot to me

This brings the light of hope to all those who wish love will last forever(as if it doesn't anyway)...for if tomorrow never comes, today lasts for all eternity...so you must love today as if tomorrow will never get here, you might just get stuck with today! This is such a tremendous write my friend! I really loved reading this one this evening! What a lovely piece, Great Work!!
