We may be six feet apart, but remember...we are all in this together. I pray to the lord for his forgiveness and for the safety and well being for all of you.

Sitting alone in silence, at midnight hour I write thoughts in the bright of a candles glow Unbeknownst what the future holds, I cower Cringing, shrinking like the flame that's burning low Is there reason to this madness, sadness...our Oh lord, Please tell me, for why? I need to know Has Satan gifted us this covid weather Or, is it you lord, bringing us together

Well stated Charlie: Out of every crisis some good must come. If not for that we would go mad. Stay safe my friend. SuZ

Oh how beautifully you write Charlie, 'Has satan gifted us this covid weather, or, is it you Lord, bringing us together'. I think the last line is what I believe is true, for good will always finally reign over evil. Kudos my friend for this amazing write. Blessings, Jennifer.

Love the title and each and every fine verse my friend. Poetic creativity and truth in the query. As we are all here and enduring this madness/sadness together, with the anxiety born from its accursed destruction. Great poetry my friend. A fav.... God bless

Food for thought. Thank you for sharing your midnight pondering. I must say... this covid weather (nice grouping of words) has affected my mental health. Still... the Lord is good. His mercy endures forever.
