Unanswered Prayer Backlog

Our vicar says prayer is the best
Our doctor says pills pass the test
The Powerball
Is no cure-all
But its way ahead of the rest!

For the Powerball also, you have to get the favor of Lady Luck and it demands prayers too. So the vicar is partially right ! Really enjoyed this one Rico !

A truly great limerick, Rico! Nice poke at the Powerball. Poor people here line up for tickets. When beggars received contributions for food, it was usually spent on liquor or lottery tickets. Enjoyed, my friend!

Lady Luck rules, so you are either lucky or you are not. If you are lucky, only buy ONE lottery ticket as that is all you will need to win. If you are unlucky, you can mortgage your home and will still lose.

Hello Rico … some worship the mighty dollar above everything else and are what you say; addicted to it - thank you Rico - Lindsay

The vicar will be pleased with your conclusion, Rico. He can combine pray for the right powerball numbers to come up. ~ Just sayin'
