Unanswered In the Dark

After the lights gone down and none's around, i think of you. And all we used to do. You had me and i was there. I fell into your trap, but all you did was laugh, like i was a joke. But i was filled with hope; that you were different like a spring breeze in the air, but i choked on despair. I couldn't figure it out, with feelings of delf-doubt. And i tried to shake it out and let you go, but you won't, you won't just go! I heard that song on the radio that you like so much, and it made me miss your touch; and the way you smiled, that could go on for miles and miles. And then all of a sudden; i felt the pang of shock! That i fell for an illusion that i wanted to turn into reality, but you casually slipped into the dark. That left a stain on my heart. With questions' unanswered, that felt like a dagger missing it's mark.
