Un-Named
(Un-Named)
Sometimes
it's cold outside
and the snow comes down too deep
And yet, we keep on moving
to be where we need to be
Sometimes
it's not the weather
but a choice, as if, in whether
Should I stay or should I go
Should I keep on keeping on
Then sometimes
when we make a choice
the repercussions pound their drum
You fear the endless pounding
changing outcomes of the unknown
Sometimes
(if only I could make this go away)
Sometimes
it's worth the struggle
and sometimes you may cry
To clear the walk from the falling snow
Life is filled with wind and ice
But when you hear that grand applause
An ovation, standing; take a bow
For if this band had no percussion
I could never feel this proud
Always
