Ultimate Sacrifice
To serve in a country filled with strife
Many men left behind their loving wife
Sacrificing precious time apart
Many soldiers even gave their life
Flickered glimmer of distant moonbeams
A reflection of their shattered dreams
Their bravery etched in our country’s heart
