Ugly Swan, Pretty Frog

I had wings that flopped here and there
She had legs that spread in the air
She jumped for joy each time I swooned
Even I tripped all over by noon

She would lick all my wounds away
I the ugly swan would shyly play
This beautiful frog with her heart on fire
She heated the very essence of my desire

My wings were clipped from early on
If I tried to fly I only flipped and tumbled
All the other swans did laugh
So alone I was left to fend for myself

She the frog, ever so kind
She took all my pain right out of my mind
So an impulse struck me from I don’t know where
I kissed this frog, right then and there

A princess appeared before my eyes
She smiles and kisses me on the lips
A miracle of sorts did transpire
As we flew away on my wings of desire

Lovely story sweetie, you threw me off losing the rhyme in the third stanza and the couplet of the fifth, but the rest flowed so good and had a neat story. Hugs baby xx

ah well in third stanza, on purpose, and BINGO you win the prize for mentioning this, "If I tried to fly I only flipped and tumbled" now if you do that all the time and you an Ugly Swan you cant go about writing a perfect stanza, even if your Ted Danza
