U Hope
it is funny how it starts.....
all over again...
first for a few hours
then many hours
not sleeping
not dreaming
not remembering....
thinking
what you did
what you thought
what you had
you still try to
remember when
the last time
you were hurt
slowly resigned but
not completely
you keep waking
up alone; someone
has shut the dooe
you think you hear
the whisper of ?????
feel that you know
someone is looking
in on you
or...
you are trying to
convince yourself
that you
know someone
one cares
is that what you are
awake for?????
are you watching
and waiting to
to see if someone
is watching you
and if someone
cares for you?????
maybe...?.you know....
somewhere in the bottom
of your fickle heart
that is not what is
happening
you turn over and you
start all over to try
and dream someone
cares...again
