Typical

I'm really just a typical girl
With a tentative plan for life
And a longing for love
And an undying curiosity
I just want this to be perfect
Please, just no snags this time
No runs in my hose
Or scuffs on my heels
Just crisp, clean lines
That never wrinkle

I enjoyed reading your poetry this afternoon Carly. I hope to be able to read a lot more of your writing in this new year of 2012. Love, Carol
