Two Young Lovers

Two young lovers on the beach unafraid To hold hands, nuzzling intimately, They are obviously very much in love In their own world they are muy contento In my country they would be ridiculed, Threatened, perhaps beaten to death Because they dare to be who they are.

Yes, it does, Delice. I had not thought of that, but am happy it brought that song to your mind. Thanks.

I love this one Hank; so empathetic and lovely; filled with heartfelt concern.

Caren, thank you. Yes, it was most interesting to experience this, realizing it may be a long time before folks back home have that freedom. I'm afraid we Americans are much too judgmental and...well, what can I say?

Intense but true, because we still can't seem to get past judging others and being critical of things we can't possible understand without a similar experience. Bill

So true, Bill. It is always so difficult to accept things we cannot understand or see as different; yet, it was beautiful to see the acceptance there in an unlikely place.
