Two To One

As light now fades to darkness
The youngsters tucked in bed
The evening play approaches
As images fill my head
My ever vivid imagination
Conjures images of love so sweet
We travel to romantic places
To make love, to feel complete

As fires then burn higher
And we two lose control
The heat of our lovemaking
Permeates the soul
As one and one make one
The two of us entwine
For two hearts become one
When, in fire, they combine
