Two Tears
Two tears fell from furious eyes
Both of growing size
Though one came first and the other last
Both of them made a blast
The ground was filled with tears and blood
Came flowing like rushing flood
The eyes that called the tears were drowned
To deep sorrow they were bound
How can the call of calming tune
Halt the furious tears from falling,
When the hearts struck by sand and stone
Were the ones that did the calling?
How can flowers bloom on fertile ground
When they are cut before they grow,
When the pipes that call the calming sound
Are tore down before they blow?
