Two of a Kind
I feel a closeness to you
or at least I felt I did
I put so much trust and hope
but I see you've turned to another
It pains me to see you doing it as a "settlement"
because it doesn't start from nowhere
Lying to them and lying to yourself
Making you believe it's everything you want
Causing me pain you wouldn't even know
And the pain I can't tell
I just wish you wouldn't push me away
because I need friends too
