Two Flames of the Soul

“Two Flames of the Soul”
By Ren R. Royal

Although the world searches for why’s,
It is seen not by words but by action,
Vainful glories his heart denies,
The sinking sand of infatuation.

He shows such true and sweet devotion,
He never needs a reason why,
His passion is seen in the mirror’s reflection,
A heart so true shall never die.

A flame beyond the depths within,
A light that sparks the passion’s glow,
Where two hearts join the journey shall begin,
When you look into the eyes of the soul.

The eyes of the soul reveal the depth,
Beyond the shallow mind,
The tears of grace the soul has wept,
To a soul that once was blind.

This flame of passion is only seen,
In the eyes of the soul within,
Devotion shines its inward gleam,
The soul breathes a deep Amen.

All thanks to our Creator of life,
Through whom this passion burns bright,
A blessing of marriage, man and wife,
Two flames of the soul unite.
