Two Empty Houses

Two empty houses They are side by side Waiting for someone To give them tender care One house needs repairs Inside and outside New windows and roof A handy man's house The other house needs New windows and doors Some repairs outside To give a new look Inside some paint job Then redecorate For the new people That bought the house next door Inside some paint job The redecorate For the new people They bought the house next door

On reading this poem two thoughts came to my mind: The house in which I live also needing some urgent care but the old man in me can't be bothered, but then so is the case the the house in which this soul lives, the body, which also need a lot of care and refurbishing. Liked the poem.

Hello Aniruddha Pathak, I say just do the things you are able to do, later in time the rest will follow. As for age I see it as only a number, it is how you feel on the inside. that counts. have a nice day my friend.

This is a metaphor; it can be taken numerous ways; given the scope of my dreaming mind's imagery; these would be powerful houses.

A lot of time and hard work can transform a dilapidated house into a beautiful place to live Darlene. Tom.
