Two Dreams In One

Last night I had two dreams
   in one
My first was so real
I felt I was really there
In the audience I sat
To watch the Nutcracker dance
Instead to my surprise-I was chosen
To dance with the Nutcracker

I was very honoured
To be part of this performance
My outfit was a tutu
On my feet ballet slippers
So proud to be gliding on the stage
To the theme of the nutcracker
who
Then like a flash my dream changed
Different type of music played
All around the ballroom floor
Dancing with no idea who
Just gliding along the floor
With a face I could not see
His face was clouded
So I could not see

This is a poem with flow and style, with thoughts being exchanged and reinforced through the collaboration of the conscious and the subconscious waging a battle for recognition in the form of a dream. Emile.

Dreams are fascinating. You captured the feeling of the sudden change very well by switching so abruptly after the word "who"; sometimes I want to keep dreaming the same dream longer because I want to find out what happens, and this felt exactly like that.

You know Angnes, it is the clouded face I want to see, and never do. see. What does that mean when you can not see the person's face?I did enjoy the dream,I just wanted to see the face.

Interesting! I took West Coast Swing not long ago and in synagogue I often dance around with the crowd. Dancing is good therapy!! "With a face I could not see" - good line! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

so cute and charming - i think this is a lovely dream - and the writer made me smile and wonder - what would it be like to hear the music and dance in the dream

Thank you Verlecia, this dream was so real to me like I was really there dancing with these two dancers in different music. One was classical music. The other was ballroom music.

Good Morning Darlene. As the dreamer that I am of course I had to read your entry. I enjoyed how you thought of the concept of two dreams in one. How true. The one so clear and vivid. The other unclear and veiled. Always are the unclear ones leave me with questions. You have expressed yourself well. Enjoy the morning and day. Well done entirely.

Hello Lisa, good afternoon The dream that is clear is my nutcracker ornament on my shelf. The one ballroom dancing I wish was clear so I could see the face.It felt so real.
