Notes About The Poem

Two Ants

Two ants were walking in a line,
which is completely and absolutely fine.
When the ant in front veered left
leaving the ant behind bereft
of a plausible reason as to why
the ant in front did not comply.
‘Where are you going?’ asked the ant confused.
‘A toilet break’ replied the ant bemused.
The other ants scratched their heads
and followed the ant to the toilet instead.

Delightful, Ron! As a connoisseur of 'antics,' you might try a poem I posted on Jan. 12, 2018, entitled "A Harmless Creature." Best wishes, Gershon
