Twist 'N Turn

Twist and turn
now don't you burn
jus' moved so
.quick. .quick.
Felt loved-sick from
that hug
that kissed
then missed.

I must'a slipped his mind
alone and again
left solo an' wonderin'
'bout the hurt.

'n be a-lickin' 'n lickin'
jus' lickin' an' suckin' that sting...
That burn.
That flamin' burn.
crept again all ov'r me
from that loved-sick
twist and turn.

That kissed.
That missed.
That gone.
